Former Woodruff Resident Passes
Mr. S. W. Stephenson, aged 75, died at a hospital in Spur, Texas, on Saturday, Jan 24, 1953. Mr. Stephenson formerly lived in Woodruff county, at Revels. He moved, about forty years ago, to McAdoo, Texas, where he was living at the time of his death.
Mr. Stephenson is survived by his wife, eight children, a sister, Mrs. Edna Hargis Wisner, of Little Rock, formerly of McCrory, and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at McAdoo, with burial in the cemertery there.
